    Hi! I am Kaila!

    The person behind HairColumn that loves hair and embraces the beauty and craziness of life! My everyday focus behind the chair is “lived-in” hair color and hand-tied extensions. I am your go to for that, “my hair naturally grows this way,” look. I am certified in Invisible Bead Extensions, the most luxurious hand-tied technique on the market. My other passion is styling hair for weddings and photoshoots.

    Fun Facts:

    • Myself, my husband and our three dogs, Chaos, Beija and Bandit, love roaming our 21 acre property

    • I could eat tacos every day

    • I participate in Spartan obstacle races

  • I created HairColumn as a place to share my love for hair and the fullness of what life has to offer. It’s something I try to embody everyday because why not enjoy the life in which you live in? Making people feel beautiful and uplifted transformed my career into a passion. My everyday focus behind the chair is “lived-in” hair color and hand-tied extensions.I am certified in Invisible Bead Extensions, the most luxurious hand-tied technique on the market. The times I am not behind the chair in my salon I am styling hair for weddings and photoshoots. I have 13+ years experience styling brides and models.

    Always hungry for change and growth lead me to seek opportunities for continuing education to help further my knowledge and expand my expertise. That’s how I found my love for education both as student and teacher. It wasn’t until I found Davines, a family owned, biodegradable and sustainable company based out of Parma, Italy, that I then began spreading my passion to others and became an educator for Davines in 2017-2021. Educating allowed me to teach and inspire other salons and stylists to enhance their skills and career, all while taking care of our planet at the same time.

    I have been a hair stylist since 2007 where I graduated from The College of Cosmetology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I lived in Bend from 2012-2018 and moved to Eugene, Oregon in October 2018. I am servicing clients behind the chair in the Eugene area along with styling hair for wedding and photoshoots across the states and beyond.

    Outside of my career I am an avid adventurer. I love spending time with family and friends including my husband, Alejandro, and my fur babies, Chaos, Beija and Bandit. I am a traveler and explorer of the globe, live music junkie, major foodie, outdoor enthusiast, pretend interior decorator, reader, tea drinker and lover of connecting with people.

    Hi! I am Sonya!

    After becoming a hairstylist, I learned very early on that my passion lies within hair color, but my specialties are blonding and brunettes- bold, subtle or as natural as possible. I love making people feel beautiful and watching their confidence boost as they sit in my chair.

    Fun Facts:

    • My celebrity crush growing up was Kiefer Sutherland

    • I could eat homemade spaghetti for the rest of my life

    • I love all music. I could jam out to Nickelback, and then cry to Lewis Capaldi right after

  • After becoming a hairstylist, I learned very early on that my passion lies within hair color, but my specialty is blonding and brunettes- bold, subtle or as natural as possible. I love making people feel beautiful and watching their confidence boost as they sit in my chair.

    Growing up I had no idea what I wanted to do career wise. I went from wanting to work in a zoo, social worker, hairstylist, police officer, dentist, and back to a hairstylist. I have always loved doing hair for friends and family in the comfort of my own bathroom, which made my personal hairstylist convince me to give beauty school a chance, because of her, I’ve been hooked on this career ever since.

    I graduated from Tangled Ends in Keizer, Oregon in 2022. I started at HairColumn as an assistant, commuting back and forth from Keizer until my move to Eugene in 2023. I have a love for education which is pursuing me further to dive into Invisible Bead Hair Extensions, and eventually offer this highly sought after specialized service.

    Any free time that I have, I love to spend it by reading, cooking and baking. Enjoying the outdoors camping or even just river days with some music, friends, and good food.

Diana Moncada

  • Hi! I am Diana!

    I fully stand behind the confidence of what a good brow shape-up can give to a face. I am a passionate esthetician that wants to fulfill your hair removal needs. From facial to body, I specialize in threading and waxing, and makeup for any occasion! I couldn’t stop there with my education, I became certified in brow lamination and tinting, lash lift and tint- furthering your makeover experience while in my seat.

    Fun Facts:

    • Hiking is one of my favorite past times

    • I am a dog mom to Marlow and Henny

    • My favorite experience to date: A sunrise hot air balloon ride in New Mexico

  • I attended IBS school of cosmetology in Eugene, and became an Esthetician in 2017. After graduation I was offered an opportunity to learn hair removal via Threading- A facial hair removal method that utilizes cotton thread. After countless hours of training, continuing education and practice, I became a Threading Master.

    I was so grateful for everything I learned and was taught along the way that I started to branch out to further my skills. I then found educational opportunities to expand my services with full body waxing, brow and lash tinting, brow lamination and lash lifting.

    Continuing to grow my skill set and knowledge at HairColumn is what fuels my work into a passion. I believe in self-care, and making people feel gorgeous and confident in their own skin is one of the most rewarding parts of my job!

    Outside of work I love spending time with nieces and nephews. I enjoy exploring the outdoors. My two favorite Oregon places are Umpqua Hot Springs and Smith Rock. I love trying new foods and drinks. I enjoy music, The Weeknd is one of my favorite artist. I feel it’s important to always believe in yourself and put good energy out into the world!

    Hi! I am Kirra!

    I am your girl for lash extensions! My personal favs are volume and mega volume lashes, but I do love the subtle look of classic lashes or a hybrid of different lengths. I want you to open your eyes and see your most beautiful self, so whatever length, thickness and preference that is, I am ready to pamper you. Makeup is my other love- bridal, proms, photoshoots, or just a date night out, there’s nothing like having your makeup done by someone else.

    • Most of my wardrobe is thrifted and vintage
